This design is based around ancient Tibetan thangkas. It features a peaceful deer in the center, a symbol of serenity, calm, harmony and peace in traditional Buddhist art. The deer wears a headdress of antique Tibetan jewelry, and lays upon a cloud of stylized lotus petals, as depicted in thangka designs. Above the deer’s head floats a parasol of peacock feathers, casting a shadow of spiritual protection, and embroidered fabrics drape over its back. The wisteria flowers represent purity and humility. This tailored jacket is made from 100% wool and has a boxy fit with structured shoulders. It is embellished with a pure silk brush fringe to the center front and cuffs. Decorative enamel buttons crest the front, while the jacket closes using hidden a hook and eye fastening.
