This design is based on an antique embroidery sampler. It features a giant panda eating bamboo, seated between two faux naively embroidered schoolhouses. The design contains an illustrated stitched poem and alphabet, and many other endangered animals and butterflies. It has a border of hand-drawn embroidery and butterflies. Our pareos can be worn in a multitude of ways; Tied as an elegant beach wrap around the hips, knotted at the neck to create a simple dress or folded into a wrap top, these are just a few possible variations of the versatile pareo.
